Briefing on Nicaragua, 2 November - Book now for this event!

We are pleased to announce that we are holding a briefing on Nicaragua on 2nd November in London. The briefing will take place at UNITE headquarters, 128 Theobald's Road, London WC1 (nearest tube: Holborn). This is a special briefing aimed at trade unionists, but all are welcome. It comes at an important time, taking place four days before the Nicaraguan elections. The briefing will focus on the Nicaraguan trade union model but will also address some wider issues such as poverty and social programmes. Speakers will be Nicaraguan Ambassador Guisell Morales and Christine Blower from the NUT, who will be speaking about her experiences on her visit to Nicaragua in June. Drinks and nibbles will be provided at the end of the meeting. The programme is as follows:-
