ANDEN celebrates 37th Anniversary

Nicaraguan teachers' union ANDEN has today celebrated the 37th anniversary of its foundation. Speaking at the celebrations, ANDEN members spoke of the huge advances that have been made over recent years in all spheres - political, economic and social. These advances have led to an improved quality of life for thousands of teachers, who now enjoy better housing and salaries. They have also benefitted from much improved professional training, which has in particular permitted the introduction and increased use of new technology.
