Nicaraguan teachers to receive solidarity bonus

Nicaraguan teachers are to receive a solidarity bonus as part of the celebrations taking place to mark the National Day of the Teacher on 29th June. The Government has expressed its thanks to all teachers and expressed its gratitude to them not only for providing formal education to Nicaragua's children but also for passing on the values of family and community to future generations. Schools will be closed on 30th June so that teachers, students and their families can celebrate the day.
